Summer Fair Fun (if you can call what we had summer)

There was probably a total of two weeks of weather that could actually be categorized as summer. And this is what I did on two of those days:

Got my tractor on at the fair.

Ate some blue cotton candy (as well as 5 ice creams--over two trips to the fair--and curly fries). 

Saved a cowboy and rode a horse, er, pony. (Hi, Franky!)

Got this far into the bungee jump and then decided it wasn't for me. Maybe next year.

Go pig with the orange number blanket! Whatever your name is. It doesn't matter because I'm rooting for orange!

(Fair: day two) Sleep-eating ice cream. And you thought it couldn't be done. Shame on you for doubting me.

Tiptoeing, uh strollering, through the tulips . . . .

Yesterday, Zachy went with Auntie and Susan to a magical place called Mount Vernon. Every Spring the barren-looking fields suddenly and myseriously burst with a wide array of colors.

Sometimes there's an oddly shaped tree growing amidst the bursts of color.

Strangely, in the most intensely hued areas the color of the flowers will rub off on the person standing (or sitting, in this case) closest.

At the end of the tour, after falling under the magical color spell, you can take a few of the bright, beautiful orbs home and hope the magic of Spring and sunshine follows along with you.

Rockstar!

Glitter gel hair, bejeweled fingernails, and face gems - a great addition to a Batman shirt and cape!  Loving the orange pants too!  Zachy, you got style!

Corn lover

His second ear of corn tonight!  And he ate 2 ears yesterday!

Strong Auntie

Poor Auntie has to push a full wheelbarrow both ways!  One way with weeds, the other way with small children.  You earn that jellybean snack, Auntie!

Down and Dirty

Zachy helped Auntie clear the front forty for flowers.  Then he threw dirt!

Gotta love Costco!

Costco is a great place to wear spaceship/blimp/helicopter/robot shirts!  Zachy loves going to Costco every week.  He likes the big displays, dollar churros, and free samples. 

Playing XBOX Kinect, robot style

Zachy liked Kinect Sports.  He played soccer, ping pong, and threw the javelin.  The little guy is going to need his own avatar soon!  Robot shirts are lucky.  For your health.

3-2-1 BLAST OFF!

Zachy may have enough space shirts to last a spaceship orbit around earth.  How can we get him a ticket?

Loving Orange, Loving Robots

Zachy loves sitting on the heater in the morning.  Sometimes it's better than sneaking into Mom's bed!

Where will Zachy sleep? Answer: Just about anywhere.

This is sounding like a Dr. Seuss story--Will Zachy sleep in a box? Will Zachy sleep with a fox?

Space sleep

Awesome pjs with glow-in-the-dark planets, stars, and moons.  Zachy's trick to making them glow is to shine his flashlight on them and then go into the dark closet.  He gets so excited and wants to show everyone!

Our newest addition

No, we've had Zachy for awhile... The shirt is new.  And it's a favorite - he has just loved showing it off today! 

Which is better? The cookie or the dough?

Robot sighting!

Zachy is playing Yumsters on the computer with his robot shirt and some orange pants.  And a face covered in hot cocoa.

Root beer lover

Finally a kid who likes carbonation!  His new love is root beer, but he still enjoys his bubble water.  Root beer in a cup, as part of a float, through a straw, or straight from the bottle - Zachy is not picky!  And he loves the burps that follow ;-)

Space Ranger to the rescue!

Zachy has so many cool space (and robot) shirts and pajamas, we have to share.  But are these Buzz Lightyear uniform pjs space or robot?  Zachy's answer is that they are Buzz Lightyear.  Guess they get their own category!

For the love of ROBOTS!

These robot pjs are so stinkin' cute!  Or should it be said that Zachy is stinkin' cute in these pjs?  Dials and gears and even an on/off switch on the back (it doesn't work).
Zachy loves robots in all forms - movies, toys, pretend play, and clothes.  Domo arigato!
